Changing account settings
Go to your personal area and open profile settings.
From there you can update your email address, change your password and manage notification preferences.
Changes are saved after confirming your current password.
Changing your profile picture
In the profile section you can upload a new image or remove the current one.
JPG and PNG formats up to 2 MB are accepted.
The preview updates immediately after saving.
Changing your username
Your username is visible in the community and on your contributions.
You can change it from account settings, as long as it is not already taken by another member.
The change takes effect immediately on all public profile pages.
How to close your account
To permanently close your account, contact support via the Contact page.
Requests are processed within a few business days.
Closing your account removes personal data according to the privacy policy.

You can add titles from catalog pages and note condition and comments.
Each entry stays private until you choose to share it.
How the wantlist works
The wantlist gathers titles you would like to buy or find.
Add releases with one click from the product page.
You can sort and remove them at any time from your personal area.
How Ciakit private messaging works
Private messaging lets you contact other registered users.
Messages are visible only to sender and recipient.
You will receive a notification when a new conversation arrives.
How to use your personal board
The board is an overview of your activity on Ciakit: collection, wantlist and recent contributions.
From here you can quickly access the sections you use most.
The board is available after logging into your private area.

How to add a new item
From a master or release page, use the button to propose a new entry.
Fill in the required fields and attach sources when available.
Contributions are reviewed before publication.
How to suggest an edit
If you find an error or missing data, open the relevant page and submit an edit proposal.
Describe the change and cite your source.
Moderators will review the request and update the catalog if approved.
Tips for adding new contributions
Check that the title is not already in the catalog before adding it.
Use titles and data consistent with Discogs conventions when possible.
Complete, well-documented contributions are approved faster.
